Frozen Chateau
A downloadable game for Windows
This game was built to be a prototype for testing out a few game ideas and assets for a sort of 2D Zelda and Souls-like hybrid game set in a world of anthro/furry characters.
The art and code I made myself, however the SFX are from ALttP and the music is from KF4. I don't have a license to use these but this game is just meant to be more of a proof of concept for an idea rather than anything official.
I'm still fleshing out the ideas for it so feedback is encouraged and welcome.

Very cool little game, I liked it a lot! I couldn't really properly beat it since it ended up crashing when I beat the grim reaper boss, but I thought it was really fun and well done.
Aside from a few little balancing or bug fixes here and there (rolling through doors broke some room transitions and I thought the orb enemies were a bit brutal because of their speed), I thought it was super cool and I'd totally play more if you're planning on continuing this! (^^)
Very cool start- tossed some random thoughts in a review for the time bein', keep up the great work!
Okay, read the review and appreciate it. I agree with a lot of it. Especially that on the crossbow comment about it being underpowered, I think I might make it hitscan and increase it’s damage as a buff.(Also I am not sure why it’s not playing nice with the PlayStation controller, I’ll try testing with one in the next prototype game instead of just using the Xbox One controller each time.)
